Maddy Anholt is an Irish/Iranian actress, comedian, writer, presenter and broadcaster. She trained as an actress at ALRA and has been working professionally for ten years.
Maddy has performed five sell-out one-woman shows including, Diary of a Dating Addict at the Gilded Balloon, Edinburgh Festival Fringe and at the Soho Theatre. Her show, Herselves was nominated 'Best New Show' at the Leicester Comedy Festival, 2017. She performed it at Underbelly, Edinburgh where she was shortlisted for The Voice's 'Pick of the Fringe'.

She co-wrote and performed in a comedy for BBC Radio 4 'No Smoke', with Hardeep Singh Kohli and she writes for Sketchtopia, BBC Radio 4. She has filmed with BBC Three, ITV, BBC One, Warner Bros, Channel 5 and Sky. Most recently she filmed a role in new BBC Three sitcom, 'Jerk', 'The Emily Atack Show', ITV2 and an ITV drama.
